Refund Policy

Our policy on subscription payments, refunds, and cancellations.

1. Subscription Payments

InterviewPrep AI offers subscription-based access to premium features. Payments are processed securely through Stripe and are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select (monthly or annual). All prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of applicable platform fees.

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription. You will receive a confirmation email for each successful payment.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Within 7 Days of Purchase: If you are unsatisfied with our services, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase or renewal, provided you have not made substantial use of the platform during that period.
  • Substantial Usage: A refund will not be issued if you have completed more than 3 mock interview sessions, analyzed more than 2 resumes, or used premium features extensively during the refund eligibility window.
  • Duplicate Payments: If you are charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, duplicate payments will be fully refunded promptly upon verification.
  • Service Unavailability: If the Platform experiences extended downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) during your billing period, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or account credit at our discretion.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Please note the following:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to premium features until your paid period expires.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
  • After cancellation, your account will revert to the free tier. Your data, including interview history and uploaded resumes, will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion.
  • You may resubscribe at any time. If you resubscribe within the 90-day retention window, your previous data will be restored.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your registered email address.
  • The date of the payment you wish to have refunded.
  • The reason for your refund request.

Refund requests are typically reviewed and processed within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method.
